We teach the best pilots how to teach others. Beginner pilots can only be taught by qualified flight instructors. At the Blue Sky Service flight school we will help you obtain the necessary qualifications so you can pass your experience and knowledge on to others.
Flight training course
Future instructor training incorporates two main and mutually complementary components – theoretical and flight training. The theoretical course consists of 100 hours of instruction + 25 hours of teaching by the candidate under supervision. The practical portion of training comprises 30 flight hours.
Candidate requirements
- 18 years of age
- Class 1 medical fitness
- CPL(A), ATPL(A) or possibly PPL(A) license + certificate demonstrating completion of the theoretical examination for CPL(A)
- Total of 200 flight hours, with at least 150 hours as a pilot in command (PIC)
- Completion of a navigation flight of at least 300 NM (this requirement can be met as part of ATO before beginning FI instruction)
- At least 30 hours flown on single-engine airplanes
